This teaching answers the questions as to why are we doing this? To really experience the heart of God and to impact our
community, we must follow the model set of daily reliance on Him. There has to be a time and place were we realize that
we don’t have all the answers and we need Him!  Confidence comes only from being in prayer. The Prayer Room is a
place where we can develop a regimented life of worship and prayer. It is a place where we can discipline our soul and
quiet our heart before the Lord.

Isaiah 56:7 – “Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt
offerings and their
sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

1. We Believe That We Don’t Like To Pray

A. Our flesh will always be distracted from spending time in prayer.

Luke 19:45,46 – “Then he entered the temple area and began driving out those who were selling. "It is written," he
said to them, " 'My house will be a house of prayer'; but you have made it 'a den of robbers.'”

    A. We need to be priests first and then whatever our title is.
    B. Prayer must be the driving force for all ministry or professions.

Isaiah 56:7 – “Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt
offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

C. Being in the Prayer Room keeps us humble.

Jeremiah 7:8-11 – “Behold, you are trusting in deceptive words to no avail.  Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery
and swear falsely, and offer sacrifices to Baal and walk after other gods that you have not known, come and stand before
Me in this house, which is called by My name, and say, 'We are delivered!'--that you may do all these abominations? Has
this house, which is called by My name, become a den of robbers in your sight?  Behold, I, even I, have seen it," declares
the LORD.”

    working through others.

6. We Believe That If We Pray The Gentiles Will Come In

Acts 15:16-18 – “After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its
ruins, and I will set it up; So that the rest of mankind may seek the LORD, even all the Gentiles who are called by My
name, says the LORD who does all these things.”

    A. If there is no prayer, there will be no harvest.
    B. God is rising up an army of intercessors: pray and evangelize!

7. We Believe Israel Intercessors

A. We can’t be silent on the issue of Israel.

Isaiah 62:1,2 – “For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness
shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your
glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.”

B. We must be assertive and aggressive in our devotion and loyalty to God’s chosen nation.

Isaiah 62:6,7 – “I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call
on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.”

    F. There’s light in the prayer room when it’s dark everywhere else.
    G. When everything gets turned off, the prayer room gets turned on.

Do we find value in building a Prayer Culture? In the prayer culture,  we worship, we pray and we seek the Lord. The Prayer
Room is about devotion, intercession, training, refuge and safety. First we sit at His feet, and then we go with Jesus as Number
One. It is the ongoing devotion of our heart. It is what Jesus loves!
