Traded:  A “field of dreams” for a field purchased by His blood for a stranger (me)
--Many plans we set in motion cannot be reversed
--Priests rejected their role to help Judas
--His birth expressed manhood; His coming expressed existence before mankind -- together this qualified Him as King
--If they could engage the Roman government in the matter, there would be little danger of an uproar and more reproach to Him.  The death on the
cross being the most ignominious and they desired to put an indelible mark of infamy on Him.
--Many are more afraid of the scandal of a bad action than the sin of it.
