PREPARING FOR THE ESCHATOLOGICAL REVOLUTION

I.  THE ESCHATOLOGICAL REVOLUTION – AN APPOINTED END TO DARKNESS

A.        What a glorious time to be alive.  I have come to announce tonight the good news of the gospel.  There is an
appointed end to iniquity!  The reign of terror and oppression by an illegitimate heir to the throne of the nations, known
scripturally as the Dragon or Satan, is coming to an end.  The one who deceived the whole world is soon going to deceive
no longer.  I am here today to announce to you the promise of all the prophets, “The kingdoms of this world are going to
become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

B.        There is a coming eschatological revolution and this transition in power will be the most comprehensive revolution
in human history.  This revolution is led by Jesus when He returns to earth to replace all the leadership on the earth that
aligns with darkness.  We are living in the hour of climax and culmination when the Son of God, who in His first coming
laid down his life for love and atoned for our sin, will complete what He started.  In the blink of an eye at the sound of the
trumpet He will split the sky and begin the process of making all things new.

C.        Peter commends us to both look for and hasten the coming day of God.  He commends us to do more than wait for it.
He exhorts us to hasten it, to speed it up.  Our choices in faith and for righteousness really do affect the timing of the coming
of the Lord.  We have the capacity to either partner with the Lord for the speeding up of the coming of the Lord or through
compromise to slow down His return.

10 The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner
of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God…
(2 Pet. 3:10-12)

D.        I believe many alive today will take part in this hastening and enter into a great revolution, this grand shift in world
history and, thus, are called by Jesus to actively participate in this revolution in a personal and dynamic way. The Bride
must make herself ready.  She must be prepared in an intentional way and the Scriptures outline what is involved in the
preparation process of the Bride.

7 For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. (Rev. 19:7)

E.        Paul declared to the Church at Rome, “And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace
of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen” (Rom. 16:20).  Paul understood that the God of peace would crush Satan
underneath the Church’s feet.  We will be intricately involved in the restoration of all things with Jesus.  Paul also prayed,
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved
blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it” (1 Thess. 5:23-24).

F.        Eph. 4:13-15 states the Church will “come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a
perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, that we should no longer be children, tossed to and
fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but
speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ.”  Paul labored to present a chaste
Bride, mature in love and ready for His coming.

G.        The Apostle John revealed to us in his Revelation that the Bride will make herself ready, dressed in the white linen
of righteous deeds.  Rev. 5:8-10 and Rev. 22:17 reveal the Church in a bridal identity functioning as a House of Prayer
in full agreement with God’s Spirit for Jesus to open the scroll and loose its seals.

II.        THE BLESSING AND INVITATION – REV. 1:3

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for
the time is near. (Rev. 1:3)

A.        The Book of Revelation contains seven beatitudes or blessings (1:3; 14:13; 16:15; 19:9; 20:6; 22:7, 14).  The other
five encourage faithfulness in the face of fear, persecution, and deception in order to receive the blessings of the
marriage supper of the Lamb, the millennial reign, and the New Jerusalem.  Two of these, Rev. 1:3 and Rev. 22:7, deal
specifically with the blessing that comes to the person who keeps the words of the prophecy.  They bookend the prophecy
as an encouragement to believers to take the prophecy serious, to receive the revelation of Jesus’ majestic personality
and plan, and to engage the content of the book in active partnership.

B.        John exhorts us that there lies a blessing for the one who reads, hears, and keeps the words of this prophecy.

1.        He who reads – most commentators point out the public reading aspect of this verse.  The charge to read the book
publicly was a statement about the book’s rightful place of being in the center of the community.  The content of the book
is vital for godliness and the formation of genuine Christian community.  The Church must read, study, and meditate upon
this wonderful gift given to the Body of Christ.

a.        Christian community is severely hindered by the loss of this prophecy.

    (1)        The Church’s view of Jesus diminishes.  Jesus as the Word of God and Lord of lords is replaced with an unusual
spiritual man who gave a unique but not supreme revelation of God.
    (2)        As the sovereignty and supremacy of Jesus fades to more sensible modern notions, singing from an
overflowing heart gives way to intellectualism and stale religion.
    (3)        Jesus’ return becomes an abstract concept not a concrete plan to hasten His coming through dynamic
    partnership.
    (4)        An eternal perspective gives way to the increase of temporal pleasures.
    (5)        The centrality of prayer/worship and its governmental role is exchanged for leaders with natural talent and
gifting.  Marketing, rather than intercession, becomes the tool for church growth.
    (6)        The fear of the Lord and His judgments are forgotten and the scandal of sin is replaced with sociological
and psychological reasoning.  The blush factor disappears as the Church becomes emboldened in perversion,
    greed, and compromise.
    (7)        Perseverance is no longer necessary as evangelism gives way to syncretistic notions of all religious ideas
    and expressions are equal.

b.        The Church’s desire for Jesus to come set up His Kingdom on the earth is delayed by the neglect of this book.
The main theme of the Book of Revelation is to reveal the personality, power, and action plan of Jesus in preparing His
Church to participate with Him in releasing God’s glory in all the nations.

(1)        One of the major points of revealing Jesus’ majesty and glory in this prophecy is to create desire in the hearts of His
believers for His return.  Jesus will only return to a people from every nation who cries out for Him to come.  In His first
coming Jesus revealed Himself in such a way that created a longing for Him above all earthly pleasures and ambitions.
They considered the honor and delight of loving Him and knowing Him to be above all earthly honors and joys.  They
labored only to bring Him back to the earth, for it would be better if He were there.  Such was the power of His revelation
and their witness that the first two centuries of the Church longed for His appearing.

(2)        Peter appealed to Jerusalem to repent. If they repented, the times of refreshing would come, and God would send
Jesus back (Acts 3:19–20). We were made for the presence of Jesus, specifically designed for intimate communion with
the God-Man; when He’s not here, we feel it. Jesus’ leadership development strategy was to addict them to His presence
so that they would do anything to get Him back.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the
presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive
until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world
began. For Moses truly said to the fathers, “The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your
brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.” (Acts 3:19–22)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again
to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and
that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready
to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved
by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested
by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love.
(1 Peter 1:3–9)

(3)        Paul called the second coming of the Lord Jesus the Church’s blessed hope, and at the close of his life, promised
the crown of righteousness to all who longed for and loved the Lord’s appearing.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts,
we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of
our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and
purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. (Titus 2:11–14)

For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I
shall choose I cannot tell. 23 For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which
is far better. 24 Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you. 25 And being confident of this, I know that I
shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith, (Phil 1:21-25)

All the brethren greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. 21 The salutation with my own hand -- Paul's. 22 If anyone
does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!  23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with
you. 24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. (1 Cor 16:20-24)

For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. (Galatians 5:5)

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who
have loved His appearing. (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

c.        Wayne Grudem states in his book, Systematic Theology, “The more Christians are caught up in enjoying the good
things of this life, and the more they neglect genuine Christian fellowship and their personal relationship with Christ, the
less they will long for his return. . . . To some extent, then, the degree to which we actually long for Christ’s return is a
measure of the spiritual condition of our own lives at the moment.  It also gives some measure of the degree to which
we see the world as it really is, as God sees it, in bondage to sin and rebellion against God, and in the power of the evil
one (1 John 5:19).”

d.        The book contains within it the necessary revelation of Jesus to overcome the greatest obstacle to Jesus’ return –
the lack of desire by His Church for Him to come.  The propensity of fallen human beings is to want God at a distance so
that we can enjoy our temporary lives and our temporary stuff.  Presently, the Body of Christ is so inundated and
inebriated by the spirit of this age that they have no desire for His return.  John warns us against this natural love for the
things of this world. This is only because they have not received a revelation of Christ and His glory.  This is going to
change and the place of prayer and worship is going to escort us into this bright revelation of Christ and His glory.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all
that is in the world -- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life -- is not of the Father but is of the
world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (1 Jn. 2:15-17)

e.        Many times while growing up, I hoped Jesus would not come back before certain things would happen: receiving my
driver’s license, getting married, or having children. The return of Jesus was merely a doctrine. It was not personal for me.
The second coming of Jesus was highly personal for the disciples and soon will be for the church worldwide. Revelation
22:17 speaks of a time when the Spirit and the Bride will be in complete unity in their desire for Jesus to return and rule
on the earth. At the end of the age, the heart cry of believers will be one of longing for their King and their God. God will
release revelation about His Son that will produce the highest expressions of longing and love from the Church. John
closed Revelation with this divine dialogue. Jesus gives the revelation of His coming with the specific battle plan to
establish the kingdom of God among the nations; John receives the revelation and responds back with the cry of
yearning, the heart given to love: “Come, Jesus! I miss you!”

He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20)

2.        He who hears – This is the reception of divine insight by the Spirit of wisdom and revelation.  Hearing takes place
when the spiritual senses of the person are awakened to the truths contained in the book and suddenly the content shifts
from the realm of principles to be pondered to the place of living understanding that demands a response.

a.        Is. 50:4-5 – Jesus is described in this servant song as having an awakened ear.  The awakening enables Him to
hear as the learned.  Immediately, the verse connects the listening ear with right response.  What you hear and how you
hear will always display itself in behavior.  Why?  Rom. 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the
Word of God.

"The Lord GOD has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who
is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned. 5 The Lord GOD has opened
My ear; And I was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away. (Is. 50:4-5)

b.        Mark 4:24 points to the importance of what you hear.

Then He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you
who hear, more will be given. 25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he
has will be taken away from him."  (Mk. 4:24-25)

c.        Luke 8:18 points to the importance of how you hear.

Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he
seems to have will be taken from him."  (Luke 8:18)

d.        Seven times in the gospels (Mt. 11:15; 13:9, 43; Mk. 4:9, 23; 7:16; Lk. 8:8; 14:35) and once in Rev. 13:9 Jesus
exhorts, “If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”  Eight times in the Book of Revelation Jesus exhorts, “If anyone has an
ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches.”

e.        Along with the parable of the sower, Jesus quotes Is. 6:9-10.  Therefore I speak to them in parables, because
seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. (Mt. 13:13).  Jesus sets forth the value
of God’s Word.  Have you considered the infinite value of the revelation of God?  It is to be cherished, pursued, and
sought after like hidden treasure.  Those who attain through hunger will always receive more and those who do not
treasure what they have received; even what they have will be taken away.

f.        God gives more to the hungry.  To those who scorn His wisdom and His Word, even what they have will be taken
away from them.  Wisdom is given to the wise, not the foolish who scorn the treasure of God’s counsel.  Remember
Dan. 2:20-22

Daniel answered and said: "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His. 21 And He
changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge
to those who have understanding. 22 He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light
dwells with Him. (Dan. 2:20-22)

3.        He who keeps.  God’s word is not simply meant to be understood; it is to be kept.  The Greek word means “to
guard” from loss.  Blessed is the one who guards the content of the book in a way which takes the details seriously.
The content of God’s word is to be activated in the life of the believer.

3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it;
for the time is near. (Rev. 1:3)

7 I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book…9. I (angel) am your fellow
servant…and of those who keep the words of this book. (Rev. 22:7-9)

a.        The 2-fold “keeping” of this Book is by engaging in the battle plan and preserving it in obedience even unto death.
There is one generation will have the mandate to hasten the Day of the Lord by engaging in the uniqueness of the
eschatological battle plan as faithful witnesses. There is one generation of believers who will keep the Book of Revelation.
It is the generation that intentionally prepares as His Bride to make herself ready.

7 Shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night…8 Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He
really find faith (agreement) on the earth? (Lk. 18:7-8)

b.        There is only one generation that is prepared to follow through on keeping the Book by having the character,
skilful insight and anointing in prayer to release its contents. Only one generation rises up to challenge to keep the Book.
They fast food in order to eat the scroll (Rev. 10).

Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come
to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear
is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.  (Jn. 14:23-24)

c.        Blessed is the one who hears and keeps the word of God.  Blessed is the one who takes the details seriously,
who searches enough to understand in a way that impacts behavior.

And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him,
"Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!" 28 But He said, "More than that, blessed are
those who hear the word of God and keep it!"  (Lk. 11:27-28)

d.        The keeping in this passage is not associated with a general obedience to the general commands of God.  A
general keeping of the God’s commandments is quite clearly stated in Rev. 22:14, but this keeping is specifically related
to the words of the prophecy.

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the
gates into the city. (Rev. 22:14)

e.        This prophecy is an invitation for hastening the day of the Lord through active participation.  Which generation
will read, hear, and then keep the prophecy.  Which generation will come into the revelation of Christ that produces the
faith to keep the prophecy?

f.        Thus, Jesus reiterates the invitation in Rev. 22:7.  Who will come into agreement concerning the time is at hand and
will embrace the Lord’s desire to come establish justice on the earth?  One generation will come into faith concerning the
person and work of Jesus presented in this prophecy.

"Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."  (Rev. 22:7)

4.        We’ve settled for two low of a vision to live the American Dream when we could be the generation to keep the
words of the prophecy and drive the usurper off the planet.  God will bring forth 10,000 forerunners who live in the spirit
of John the Baptist as friends of the Bridegroom (Jn 3:29) and call the Church to awaken to active revolution.

III.        THE INVITATION RESTATED AND A SEVERE WARNING GIVEN – REV. 22:7 & 22:18-19

"Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."  (Rev. 22:7)

For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these
things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the
book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which
are written in this book. (Rev. 22:18-19)

A.        Jesus reiterates His quick return, and invites a generation to believe the prophecy and keep its content.  When John
falls down to worship the angel in the next verse, the angel stops him and announces that he is John’s fellow servant, and
of his brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book.  He then commands the book not to be sealed.
The book remains unsealed.  The understanding is available, yet who will read, hear, and activate the end time plan
through prayer and obedience.

B.        John ends the Revelation with a sober warning concerning the content of the book.  He warns of two types of
corruption to the book.

1.        He warns against those who would add to the content of the prophecy, either changing the revelation of Jesus or
making the book too complex for the common person to understand.

2.        He warns against those who would take away or diminish the content of the prophecy, thus relegating to basic
good versus evil principles while neglecting the specifics which may have eternal consequences.

3.        Jesus warned us that many false christs and prophets would come to try to deceive the saints.  Paul warned us of
even angels of light who would come and try to pervert the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying,
'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. (Mt. 24:4-5)

For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25 See, I have told you beforehand.  (Mt. 24:24-25)

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is
not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel
from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. (Gal. 1:6-8)

For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste
virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted
from the simplicity that is in Christ.

4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you
have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted -- you may well put up with it! . . . . 13 For such are
false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself
transforms himself into an angel of light. (2 Cor. 11:2-4, 13-14)

C.        Why is the warning so severe?  Two Reasons.

1.        Doing so will leave the Body of Christ unprepared for its greatest threat and most intense persecution.
Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to
be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had
come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the
man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is
worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when
I was still with you I told you these things? . . . 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with
all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not
receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (2 Thess. 2:1-10)

2.        In Revelation 1-5 seventy-nine nuances of Christ, His person and work are set forth.  The book is rightly titled the
Revelation of Christ.  The book contains within it the necessary revelation of Jesus to overcome the greatest obstacle to
Jesus’ return – the lack of desire by His Church for Him to come.  Very few persons in the Body of Christ want Him to
come back and make all things new.  Presently, the Body of Christ is so inundated and inebriated by the spirit of this age
that they have no desire for His return.  This is only because they have not received a revelation of Christ and His glory.
This is going to change and the place of prayer and worship is going to escort us into this bright revelation of Christ and
His glory.

D.        If the Church does not read, hear, and get a vision to keep the content of this prophecy, it will continue to be
malnourished on the very revelation of Jesus which creates the longing for Him to come and will leave portions of the
Church vulnerable to the deceptive schemes of the enemy.

IV.        REV. 12 – THE CONFRONTATION AND THE OVERCOMING CHURCH

A.        In Rev. 11:15 the seventh trumpet sounds and the heavenly announcement comes forth, “The kingdoms of this world
have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever.”  The Second Coming
Procession of Jesus begins as He begins to replace all the governments of the earth.  The clash of kingdoms, light and
darkness – God’s and Satan’s, is about to be resolved as the God-man Christ Jesus returns to set up an everlasting
kingdom.  The mystery of God is complete as Jesus is now openly displayed as the King of Glory who will rule over all
the nations of the earth with His people.

but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished,
as He declared to His servants the prophets. (Rev. 10:7)

Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have
become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!" (Rev. 11:15)

B.        The next chapter takes us back to the ancient confrontation that began in the Garden long ago and introduces
us to the male Child who was born to rule all the nations with a rod of iron.  The moment you were born, you entered into
a dramatic confrontation, a war of epic proportions.  Rev. 12:1-5 points out the specific labor and pain of the faithful
remnant of Israel to bring forth the birth of the Messiah and the atonement of sin through Calvary.  Rev. 12:6-12 points
out the labor and pain that the faithful remnant of believers will go through in partnering with Jesus in His Second Coming
when He returns to take over all the governments of the earth.

1.        Genesis 3 reveals to us the tragic moment when humanity entered the rebellion of Satan. Somewhere between
Genesis 1:31, when God saw that all things were good, and Genesis 3, a conflict began in Heaven. Tradition holds that
Satan, a powerful and high-ranking angel, became proud of his angelic grandeur and exalted himself to be like God. He
sought the worship of God’s created order and secured the following of a third of Heaven’s angels.

2.        The rebellion expanded to Earth as Satan established his kingdom in the natural realm by seducing God’s most
prized creature. Adam and Eve’s decision was over much more than what fruit to eat. It was over whom humanity should
listen to and follow. Humanity joined the resistance against God’s plan, and the consequences of this rebellion have
changed the entire landscape of the created order. The effects have been disastrous and deadly.

a.        Humanity, in following Satan, fell from God’s Kingdom. Through the Fall, lordship over the earth transferred over
to Satan. The kingdom of darkness had a stronghold, and the kingdoms of the world would come under the sway of the
evil one.

Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their
glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” (Matthew 4:8–9, emphasis
added)

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. (1 John 5:19, emphasis added)

b.        Physical, spiritual, and eternal death entered into the human experience. We were spiritually separated from God
and physically condemned to die.

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
(Genesis 2:17, emphasis added)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23, emphasis added)

For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in
Christ all shall be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:21–22, emphasis added)

And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. (Hebrews 9:27, emphasis added)

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which
is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were
judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:12–15, emphasis added)

c.        The guilt of sin and God’s just punishment of sin entered into the human experience.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the
truth in unrighteousness. (Romans 1:18)

But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of
wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who “will render to each one according to his deeds.” (Romans 2:5–6)

d.        Creation would experience the groan of the effects of sin.

For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was
subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be
delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (Romans 8:19–21, emphasis
added)

e.        Humanity would not only experience separation from God, but the effect of sin would cause social separation and
injustice.

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son
cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)

3.        The promise of the coming seed: after the Fall, God prophesied of a coming Child who would make all things right
by crushing the powers of darkness. The unfolding of all revelation will concern the coming of this Anointed One who will
destroy the works of darkness, make all things new, and bless all the families of the earth. The Bible is the record of how
God would bring forth the Promised One, the Child who would destroy Satan and rule over all the nations of the earth.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and
you shall bruise His heel. (Genesis 3:15)

4.        The Jewish remnant cried out in labor to bring forth this seed, the promised Messiah.  This signified the faithful
remnant’s bearing the assault of Satan to strike against the seed and destroy the promise.  The Child is born and initiates
the Kingdom of God through the Cross, Resurrection, and Ascension.

C.        Rev. 12:7 begins to describe the confrontation surrounding the Second Coming of Jesus.  War breaks out in
heaven as Michael and his angels fight the dragon and his angels.  Michael prevails and Satan and his angels are cast
out of the second heavens.  Satan’s power is reduced.  He loses his strong hold in the heavenly places. He loses his
place of spiritual authority.  God allowed him to have this place for a limited season due to the sin of humanity.  The Bible
calls Satan the “prince of the power of the air” (Eph. 2:2) and that “the whole world lies under the sway of the evil one”
(1 Jn. 5:19).

D.        Michael and the hosts of heaven cleanse the second heavens, but there is one more realm to cleanse – the
earth.  Ps. 115:16 declares, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s but the earth He has given to the children
of men.”  Rev. 12:10-11 introduces us to the ones who will partner with Jesus in overcoming and who will drive the
usurper and the deceiver from the planet.

E.        You were born for more war.  More than the war on terror and more than overcoming an economic shaking.
You were born into the kingdom to keep the words of the Revelation of Jesus Christ in order to drive the usurper off the
planet and to invade every area of life with the gospel of the kingdom.  Rev. 12:10-11 describes the type of Church
which will keep the words of the prophecy and overcome the works of the evil one.

V.        THE PRAYING CHURCH – REV. 5:8-10

A.        In Rev. 12:7 a war in heaven breaks out.  What you need to understand is that the war is initiated by the saints.
Chronologically, a global worship and prayer movement comes forth which initiates a heavenly war, much like Daniel’s
prayer in Dan. 10 initiates a heavenly war.

B.        The scene begins with a view into the One who sits on the throne, the Father of glory.  Chapter four ends with the
worship of the Holy, Holy, Holy, and five begins the question of who is worthy to open the scroll and loose its seals.
Who is worthy to administrate the Father’s plan to liberty the earth and release the judgments necessary to do so?
A Lamb with seven horns and seven eyes who is in the midst of the throne takes the scroll and prepares to administrate
the Father’s plan.

C.        This Lamb has seven horns and seven eyes.  He is perfect power and perfect wisdom, yet before He opens the
scrolls and looses its seals, something on earth must be in place.  Something must be offered up to heaven from the
saints on the earth.  Rev. 5:8-10 gives us insight into what is necessary to come forth from the Church before the Lamb
transitions the ages.

1.        Identity of the Church as a House of Prayer.  The 24 Elders and 4 Living Creatures offer to the Lamb harps and
golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.  The Church has come into her identity as a House of
Worship and Prayer.

Worthy Is the Lamb Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down
before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. (Rev. 5:8)

a.        The highest identity of the redeemed throughout all eternity is to walk as a House of Prayer or in “intimacy based
intercession” as sons of God and as the Bride of Christ ruling with Jesus.  Worship and prayer are eternal realities.
Intercession is the primary means that God has chosen to release His government both in His relationship with Jesus
within the fellowship of the Trinity and with His people now and forever. The majesty and mystery of intercession is seen
first and most in Jesus’ relationship with the Father.

Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
(Ps. 2:8)

25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to
make intercession for them. (Heb. 7:25)

"Also the sons of the foreigner Who join themselves to the LORD, to serve Him, And to love the name of the LORD, to be
His servants -- Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, And holds fast My covenant --  7 Even them I will bring to
My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted
on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." 8 The Lord GOD, who gathers the outcasts
of Israel, says, "Yet I will gather to him Others besides those who are gathered to him." (Is. 56:6-8)

b.        God is waiting for our persistence in prayer before Him. Isaiah taught that He longs to release His grace and
power, but actually waits until He hears the cry of His people in intercession.

18 The LORD longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on High to have compassion on you....19 He will
surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you. (Isa 30:18-19, NAS)

c.        God is going to take prayer meetings out of the Church and put within it a prayer culture.  Currently, Islam has
a prayer culture and we have occasional prayer meetings.  The really radical ones have a prayer event.  The Spirit is
producing a great hunger in the Body of Christ for intimate fellowship and ruling effectiveness through prayer and
worship.

2.        Informed Intercession – Embodied Truths Contained in the New Song

D.        The Church from every nation, tribe, and tongue enters into the Rev. 22:17 cry for Jesus to come and set up
God Kingdom on earth.  When the Church enters in to her House of Prayer identity in Bridal partnership for Jesus to
come and rule on the earth, Michael will stand and initiate the cleansing of heaven which will then lead to the cleansing
of the earth.

For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My name shall be great among the Gentiles; In every place incense
shall be offered to My name, And a pure offering; For My name shall be great among the nations," Says the LORD of
hosts. (Mal. 1:11)

E.        Satan is cast down and can no longer accuse.  His accusation that God cannot judge his kingdom of darkness
while the Church remains in compromise will be undermined as the Praying Church comes forth into maturity.
1 Peter 5:17 will come forth to purify the Bride of Christ.  The Church will come forth in Maturity in the fruit, gifts, and
wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end
of those who do not obey the gospel of God? (1 Pet. 4:17)

F.        The Praying Church will not only release the end-time scenario, but prayer will also be the context in which the
Church will come forth in three overcoming realities.  The Garden of Eden scenario with Satan face to face with humans
will happen again.  This time the Church underneath the leadership of Jesus and by His great power will overcome
Satan and not give way to his temptations.  The battleground is set and the Church will come forth victorious in love.

VI.        THE PASSIONATE AND PURIFIED CHURCH – BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB

A.        The Church will grow confident in God’s love for them as shown on Calvary and will become resolute in its
efficacy and power.  The Cross of Christ will become central and precious in the eyes of the Church.

B.        The Cross of Christ will become the delight of all the saints and engender greatness in the heart of all the
believers.

1.        The Cross produces great affection in the heart of the individual believer. To ponder the Excellencies of Christ
on Calvary is to find the wellspring of all charitable emotion.  The Cross becomes the object of meditation for the
tenderizing of the heart.  See how much He loved us!  See it!  Look upon it! Look what God has done! Look how far
His love will go to secure our love, our salvation!

2.        The Divine Wound.  What is the divine wound?  It is the crumbling of the heart by the piercing arrow of the love
of God.  God’s strategy is to bring voluntary love from a freely given heart of longing.  Thus, He reveals Himself to the
vessel in such a way that leaves the vessel helpless against the affections of God.  It is but the initial awakening of the
heart left in the pain of its incompletion.  It is the heart starved for consummation.  Once awakened by the Great Lover the
heart has enough life to long for the promise of fullness brought in the first touch.

3.        His tenderness wounds us.  The heart is defenseless against one thing, undeserved mercy and unreserved
kindness.  Jesus overcomes the heart and leaves it rent asunder by loving that which is used to setting up shadows
and setting forth illusions in order for others to give their love.  All the while others speak to the fortresses in which we
set up but never reach the heart, alone in its lowly condition.  Jesus moves through the veneer to speak directly to the
heart.  Upon the reception of such kindness the heart has no more defenses and collapses, only to be caught by the
gentle Lover who shares Himself, transforming us at the deepest levels.

4.        The Cross creates bondservants who have been wounded by love and will do anything to get Him back.  Apostolic
preaching flows from apostolic wounding.  The love of Christ compels them. They are set apart by love for Him and Him
alone.  Above function, above place and position, they want Jesus and Him manifest in their lives.  They are madly in
love with Jesus.  What transforms the son of thunder into the Apostle of love?  John would tell you, “The Cross.”  “Behold
what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1)

5.        The Cross sanctifies persons for Christ.  They exude the fragrance of love for Jesus.  They long for Him more than
the prestige of their platform.  They follow in the path of Jesus who made Himself of no reputation.  They consider the
honor and delight of loving Him and knowing Him to be above all earthly honors and joys.  They labor only to bring Him
back to the earth, for it would be better if He were there.

Hence that great lover Jesus Christ, Saint Paul, once said: “The love of Christ urges us on” (2 Corinthians 5:14).  Listen
to what Saint Francis de Sales says on this text from Corinthians:  “Knowing that Jesus Christ, true God, has loved us
so that He suffered death, and death on a cross, for us, doesn’t that put our hearts in a vise, and make them feel its
force, and squeeze love from them, but with a power that, the stronger it is, the  more delightful it is.”  He goes on to say,
“When then, don’t we cast ourselves on Jesus crucified, to die on the Cross with Him, who has chosen to die love of us?
I will hold Him and I will never let Him go; I will die with Him, and will be consumed in the flames if His love.  One flame will
consume this divine Creator and His wretched creature.  Jesus gives Himself unreservedly to me, and I give myself
unreservedly to Him. I will live and die in His loving arms; neither life nor death shall ever separate me from Him.  O
eternal love, my soul longs after You, and chooses You forever.  Come, Holy Spirit,

and inflame our hearts in love. O to love! O to die! To die to all other loves, and to live only for the love of Jesus Christ!
O Redeemer of our souls, grant that we may eternally sing, long live Jesus, whom I love. I love Jesus, who lives forever
and ever”  (Saint Alphonsus Liguori, The Practice of the Love of Jesus Christ, p. 5).

C.        Sanctified in Truth - Jesus’ gained victory over Satan on the cross by removing his “legal right” to torment us.
We must enforce Jesus’ victory in our life by using our authority against Satan.

The weapon of soul-destroying sin and guilt is taken out of Satan’s hand.  He is disarmed of the single weapon that
can condemn us – unforgiven sin. . . . only unforgiven sin can condemn the soul and make death a door to hell, not
heaven  (Piper, Seeing and Savoring Jesus, p. 83).

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make
intercession for them. (Heb. 7:25)

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved
blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.  (1 Thess. 5:23-24)

1.        The Cross is effective in both its depth and scope.  The most heinous sins are cleansed by the blood of Jesus.
Do you feel the power of Jesus’ first words on the Cross?  “Father, forgive them.  They know not what they do.”  The
crowning sin of the human race was the murder of the innocent, sinless Son of God who had already infinitely humbled
Himself to take on our form and came serving us from the moment of His birth.

2.        The Cross saves to the uttermost.  The Fall ushered in four realities in which the Cross redeemed all four.

a.        It separated us from God and we were brought under the just wrath of God for transgressions.  Physical, spiritual,
and eternal death entered into the human experience.  We were spiritually separated from God and physically condemned
to die.  We were by nature objects of wrath.  Jesus became for us an atoning sacrifice for our sins and died in our stead,
bearing the penalty of our sin, and drawing us near by the blood of the Lamb.

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."
(Gen. 2:17)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom. 6:23)

For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in
Christ all shall be made alive. (1 Cor. 15:21-22)

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of
disobedience. (Eph. 5:6)

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that
is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness,
because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the
present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. (Rom. 3:23-26)

Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we
were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be
saved by His life. (Rom. 5:9-10)

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon
Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. (Is. 53:5-6)

For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him,
whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. 21 And you, who once
were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through
death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight -- (Col. 1:19-22)

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed -- 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an
eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible
has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written:
"Death is swallowed up in victory."  55 "O Death, where is your sting?O Hades, where is your victory?"  56 The sting
of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord
Jesus Christ. (1 Cor. 15:51-57)

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (Eph 2:13)

b.        It heaped guilt and condemnation upon the human race.  Our shame causes us to hide from God instead of run
towards him for forgiveness and grace.  At the Cross Jesus bore our shame.  In the garden we hid in shame and tried to
cover our shame.  Jesus hung naked on a cross, bearing our shame, that we might be clothed with His righteousness.

Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?" 10 So he said, "I heard Your voice in the garden,
and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself." (Gen. 3:9-10)

I gave My back to those who struck Me, And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from
shame and spitting. (Is. 50:6)

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but
according to the Spirit. (Rom. 8:1)

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you
will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." (Rom. 10:9-11)

c.        Humanity would not only experience separation from God but the effect of sin would cause social separation and
injustice.

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son
cleanses us from all sin. (1 Jn. 1:7)

d.        Sin brought us under the bondage of Satan.  Humanity in following Satan fell from God’s Kingdom.  Through the fall
Lordship had transferred over to Satan.  The kingdom of darkness had a stronghold and the kingdoms of the world would
come under the sway of the evil one.  The Cross destroyed the power of Satan.

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him,
having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was
contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and
powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. (Col 2:13-15)

•        In the Greek it’s the sense that He stripped the enemy bare. He disarmed him.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives
to the death. (Rev. 12:11)

He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that He might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)

Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through
death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of
death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the
seed of Abraham. 17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful
High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that He Himself has
suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. (Heb. 2:14-18)

3.        In Rev. 1:17-18 Jesus was saying to John, “John don’t be afraid. I have the keys of death and hell. I’ve conquered
and vanquished the foe. I’ve stolen the right. I now possess the access for human beings so that when they die, they go
right to God. I’ve stripped the power of Sheol. The abode of the dead has been stripped.  Don’t fear, John.  You will
never die!”

4.        C.S. Lewis once stated, “On the back of Satan’s neck is a nail scarred footprint.”  Can you imagine when the hour of
darkness reigned, when the enemy convinced Jerusalem and Israel and the leadership and the people to kill the Son?
And in that moment when holy blood was spilled on that beam, a tremor was loosed through the powers of darkness?
The hordes of hell realizing that the blood of Jesus is interceding for the forgiveness of humanity’s sin.  Jesus, the military
general, sized up the battlefield from the high ground, from the vantage point of Calvary. When the Son of Man was lifted
up, the general of generals had viewed the battle field and knew He had won.  And in that moment, when His holy,
precious blood touched the ground and atonement was made, the battle was won.  The Cross is a military victory!  And
He did this in meekness. The first battle was won by the Lamb in meekness.  The next battle will be won by the Lion of
the Tribe of Judah in an open display of power as He binds Satan and sets the captives free!

VII.        THE PROCLAIMING CHURCH – BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY

A.        The Church will operate as a faithful witness in word and deed to God’s truth in every arena of life: individual,
corporate, and societal/institutional.

B.        Individually our testimony (confession of faith) is what we believe about who Jesus is, what He did on the cross,
who we are in Him, what we believe about Satan’s assaults. We enforce Jesus’ victory by exercising our authority in Him
and refusing Satan’s lies in our life.

1.        Individual believers will come into confident agreement with God’s Word regarding His person, His Work and His
moral law.

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering… He is faithful. (Heb. 10:23)

14 Let us hold fast our confession…16 Come boldly to the Throne of grace… (Heb. 4:14-16)

8 The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the word of faith…10 and with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation (victory)…? (Rom. 10:8-10)

2.        By the prayer of faith (confident agreement with the Word), we enforce Jesus’ victory in our life.

15 The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. (Jas 5:15)

16 Taking the shield of faith…to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one… (Eph 6:16)

6 I pray that…your faith may become effective through the knowledge of every good thing which is in you for Christ's
sake. (Philemon 6, NAS)

C.        The Church corporately will become a faithful witness in terms of Jesus’ person and work.  What is cloudy now in the
Body of Christ concerning the person of Jesus will become clear to the Church.

1.        In the End-Times there will be a battle for the truth about Jesus. The Holy Spirit was sent to glorify and exalt Jesus
by guiding us into all truth about Him (Jn. 16:13-14). In the End-Times some believers will give heed to doctrines that lie
about the person of Jesus.

1 The Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and
doctrines of demons…2 having their conscience seared… (1 Tim. 4:1-2)

2.        The conflict in the End-Times will center around defining who Jesus is. Three truths about Jesus that offend
humanists include, first, His deity thus His right to establish absolute standards for which the nations are accountable
to Him for. Jesus is NOT tolerant and accepting of everyone’s view of righteousness and love. Second, the only way of
salvation is through Jesus. Third, that He possesses the wisdom and love to judge sin in time and eternity.

22 Consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in
His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. (Rom. 11:22)

D.        The Church will also corporately stand as a faithful witness against institutional and societal injustice.  The Church
will contend for social justice on the earth in the areas of life, morality, and oppression. The twenty-four hour cry for
justice in intercession will co-exist with the 24/7 works of justice.

E.        The Church will be a faithful witness to the end time events as set forth in God’s Word.  The Church will announce
to the nations of the earth the judgments of Jesus that will be released during the Great Tribulation on the kingdom
of darkness.

VIII.        THE PERSEVERING CHURCH – THEY DID NOT LOVE THEIR LIVES TO THE DEATH

A.        They Did Not Love Their Lives Unto Death – The Church will walk as Jesus walked and pick up our cross and follow
Him.  The Paradox of Death and Resurrection.  We receive the power of His resurrection is in order to live the crucified life.

a.        The first coming of Jesus the Lamb crushes Satan on the Cross, and in the Second Coming the Church crushes
Satan by embracing the Cross as the Lambs opens the scroll and looses its seals.

b.        Believers will be hated by all nations.  Yet, it will be fuel for the spreading of the gospel to all the nations.

"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. 10 And
then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up
and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to
the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations,
and then the end will come.  (Mt. 24:9-14)

c.        Martyrdom will release a heavenly prayer movement that will release the Great Harvest and the judgments of God
upon the evil one.  Satan is in a “catch 22.”  If Satan allows the praying Church to exist they win billions to the Lord.  If
Satan kills them they enter into an intercession that looses the judgments of God that brings Jesus back and sends
him to the lake of fire.

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those
who dwell on the earth?" 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a
little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were,
was completed. (Rev. 6:10-11)

d.        Living for Someone Worth Dying For.

So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.
(Acts 5:41)

IX.        ONE GENERATION WILL KEEP THE PROPHECY

3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it;
for the time is near. (Rev. 1:3)

7 I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book…9. I (angel) am your fellow
servant…and of those who keep the words of this book. (Rev. 22:7-9)

A.        The 2-fold “keeping” of this Book is by engaging in the battle plan and preserving it in obedience even unto
death. There is one generation will have the mandate to hasten the Day of the Lord by engaging in the uniqueness of
the eschatological battle plan as faithful witnesses. There is one generation of believers who will keep the Book of
Revelation.
