The Spirit of False Prophecy Related to Israel in the End-Times

I.        JESUS’ WARNS THE CHURCH ABOUT DECEPTION IN THE END-TIMES

3 The disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of
Your coming, and of the end of the age?" 4 Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives
you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many…11 Then many false
prophets will rise up and deceive many…24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs
and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. (Matthew 24:3-5, 11, 24-25)

II.        JEREMIAH WARNS AGAINST FALSE PROPHECY

16 Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you
worthless; they speak a vision of their own heart, not from the mouth of the LORD. 17 They continually say to
those who despise Me, 'The LORD has said, "You shall have peace’"; and to everyone who walks according to
the dictates of his own heart, they say, 'No evil shall come upon you.'" 18 For who has stood in the counsel of
the LORD, and has perceived and heard His word? Who has marked His word and heard it? 19 Behold, a
whirlwind of the LORD has gone forth in fury-- A violent whirlwind! It will fall violently on the head of the
wicked. 20 The anger of the LORD will not turn back until He has executed and performed the thoughts of His
heart. In the latter days you will understand it perfectly. 21 "I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have
not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. 22 But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to
hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way… (Jeremiah 23:16-22)

III.        WE ONLY STAND FOR ISRAEL AS WE STAND WITH THE GOD OF ISRAEL

12 They have lied about the LORD, and said, "It is not He. Neither will evil come upon us, nor shall we see
    sword or famine. (Jeremiah 5:12)

4 These are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and Judah. 5 For thus says the LORD: 'We have
heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. 6 Ask now, and see, whether a man is ever in labor with
child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins like a woman in labor, and all faces turned pale?
7 Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it; and it is the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved
out of it. 8 'For it shall come to pass in that day,' Says the LORD of hosts, 'That I will break his yoke (Antichrist’s)
from your neck, and will burst your bonds; foreigners shall no more enslave them. 9 But they shall serve the
LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up for them…23 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD
goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind; it will fall violently on the head of the wicked. 24 The fierce anger
of the LORD will not return until He has done it, and until He has performed the intents of His heart. In the
latter days you will consider it. 31:1 "At the same time…I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they
shall be My people." 2 Thus says the LORD: "The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness--
Israel, when I went to give him rest." (Jeremiah 30:4-31:2)

IV.        ISRAEL’S BEST AND WORST DAYS ARE YET AHEAD

36 Then the king (Antichrist) shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every
    god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished;
for what has been determined shall be done. 37 He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire
of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all….40 At the time of the end the king
of the South (Egypt) shall attack him… 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land (Israel), and many countries
shall be overthrown…44 But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out
with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. 45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas
(Mediterranean and Dead Sea) and the glorious holy mountain (Jerusalem); yet he shall come to his end, and no
one will help him. 12:1 At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince (archangel; Rev. 12:7-9) who stands
watch over the sons of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a
nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the
book. 2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame
and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who
turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. 4 "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the
book until the time of the end…5 Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others (angels), one on this
riverbank and the other on that riverbank. 6 And one said to the man (angel) clothed in linen, who was above
the waters of the river, "How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?" 7 Then I heard the man (angel)
clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to
heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time (3½ years); and
when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. 8 Although
I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, "My lord, what shall be the end of these things?" 9 And he said, "Go your
way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white,
and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall
understand. 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is
set up, there shall 1,290 days (3½ years plus 30 days). (Daniel 11:36-12:11)

V.        JESUS QUOTES THE ANGEL WHO SPOKE TO DANIEL

15 "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the
holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains…21 For
then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no,
nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's
sake those days will be shortened. (Matthew 24:15-22)

VI.        MALACHI PROPHESIED OF THE END-TIME REFINING OF ISRAEL

2 "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's
fire…3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold
and silver, that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness. 4 "Then the offering of Judah and
Jerusalem will be pleasant to the LORD… (Malachi 3:2-4)

VII.        ZECHARIAH PROPHESIED OF THE END-TIME REFINING OF ISRAEL

8 It shall come to pass in all the land," Says the LORD, "That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But
one- third shall be left in it: 9 I will bring the one-third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined,
    and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people';
and each one will say, 'The LORD is my God.'" (Zechariah 13:8-9)

VIII.        EZEKIEL PROPHESIED OF THE END-TIME REFINING OF ISRAEL

35 I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will plead My case with you face to face. 36 Just
as I pleaded My case with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will plead My case with you,"
says the Lord GOD. 37 I will make you pass under the rod (divine discipline), and I will bring you into the bond
of the covenant; 38 I will purge the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against Me; I will bring
them out of the country where they dwell, but they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that
I am the LORD. 40 For on My holy mountain, on the mountain height of Israel," says the Lord GOD, "there all
the house of Israel, all of them in the land, shall serve Me; there I will accept them... (Ezekiel 20:35-40)

16 I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away…but I will destroy the fat and the strong,
and feed them in judgment." 17 'And as for you, O My flock, thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I shall judge
between sheep and sheep, between rams and goats. (Ezekiel 34:16-17)

IX.        AMOS PROPHESIED OF THE END-TIME REFINING OF ISRAEL

    9 For surely I will command, and will sift the house of Israel among all nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve;
yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. 10 All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, who
say, 'The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.' 11 "On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David,
which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old…
    (Amos 9:9-11)

X.        ZECHARIAH PROPHESIED OF THE NATIONS ATTACKING ISRAEL IN THE END-TIMES

1 The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel…2 "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to
all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3 It shall happen in that day
that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut
in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it…9 In that day that I will seek to destroy all
the nations that come against Jerusalem. (Zechariah 12:1-3, 9)

1 Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, and your spoil will be divided in your midst. 2 For I will gather all the
nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half
of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then the
LORD will go forth and fight against those nations…4 In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a
very large valley; …Then you shall flee through My mountain valley…Thus the LORD my God will come, and
all the saints with You. (Zechariah 14:1-5)

XI.        THE ANTICHRIST TRAMPLING ISRAEL AND THE NATIONS

23 The fourth beast (Antichrist) shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other
kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, trample it and break it in pieces. (Daniel 7:23)

18 Your covenant with death (Israel’s covenant with the Antichrist) will be annulled, and your agreement with
Sheol will not stand; when the overflowing scourge passes through, then you (Israel) will be trampled down
by it. 19 As often as it goes out it will take you; for morning by morning it will pass over, and by day and by
night; it will be a terror just to understand the report." (Isaiah 28:18-19)

1 The angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God…2 But leave out the court which is outside
the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city
(Jerusalem) underfoot for forty-two months (3½ years). (Revelation 11:1-2)

13 Another holy one (angel) said…, "How long will the vision be, concerning the daily sacrifices and the
transgression of desolation, the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled under foot?" 14 He
said to me, "For 2,300 days; then the sanctuary shall be cleansed." (Daniel 8:13-14)

24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be
trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. (Luke 21:24)

XII.        WHO WILL SPEAK GOD’S WORD IN TIME OF THE END-TIME TROUBLES?

11 "I will make Jerusalem a heap of ruins…I will make the cities of Judah desolate…" 12 Who is the wise man
who may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD has spoken, that he may declare it?
Why does the land perish and burn up...? 13 The LORD said, "Because they have forsaken My law which I set
before them, and have not obeyed My voice …15 therefore thus says the LORD of hosts…,"Behold, I will feed
them, this people, with wormwood… (Jeremiah 9:11-15)

33 Those of the people who understand shall instruct many...35 some of those of understanding shall fall, to
refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed
    time. (Daniel 11:33-35)

27 For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. (Acts 20:27)

8 The voice…said, "Go, take the little book…in the hand of the angel…" 9 I…said, "Give me the little book." He
said, "Take and EAT IT; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth."
10 Then I took the little book…and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it,
my stomach became bitter. 11 And he said to me, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations,
    tongues, and kings." (Revelation 10:8-11)

John ate the scroll, as Ezekiel did (Ezekiel 2:10-3:3). They are prototype for End-Time messengers who fully digest the
End-Time message.
Sweet – ministering salvation, healing, revelation with authority then eternal rewards. Bitter – sacrifice,
rejection, persecution, sorrow of temporal and eternal judgment (Luke 19:41).
Must prophesy – this will release God’s power
and possession of the earth (Jeremiah 1:12-13).
